Physical Demand Gap Analysis - The Bridge Between High-Performance Workforce and Peak-Safety Workplace
In the early 1990’s, Title I of the ADA gave us the mandate to examine job title essential functions, so we could better bridge the gaps between our workforce and their work tasks. This mandate materialized in advanced Physical Demand Analysis (PDA). By gathering job-specific data, we can better find leading indicators between our work and workforce before injuries arise. Through streamlined PDA screening, we can eliminate exposures when 1) onboarding new talent, 2) evaluating incumbent talent, and 3) recovering RTW talent. Learn how these time-tested methods fit neatly into a Lean Continuous Improvement model. The results are both superior workforce performance and peak workplace safety.
