  Alan Hedge

Alan Hedge, PhD, CPE, C.Erg.HF, is a Professor in the Department of Design and Environmental Analysis at Cornell University. Having served as a consultant to businesses and healthcare providers for more than three decades, he is a widely recognized expert in using ergonomic products and strategies to improve productivity, health and comfort in the workplace.

David Brodie



  David Brodie

David Brodie, MS, CPE, is a Corporate Ergonomist with Cargill, Inc. overseeing the development and implementation of the corporate ergonomics program for the company, with the goal to significantly reduce ergonomic risk and injury rates to meet global health and safety goals. Brodie, a Certified Professional Ergonomist with a Masters of Science in Kinesiology, has been working in the field of ergonomics for 20 years and has worked as a consultant for corporate clients throughout North America, including work in office, industrial, meat processing, transportation, and healthcare settings. Brodie is currently Administrator of the Ergonomics Practice Specialty within the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), and past President of the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics (BCPE).

Rachel Michael



  Rachel Michael

Rachel Michael, CPE is Thought Leader of the ergonomics practice group within Aon Global Risk Consulting responsible for developing solutions that drive safety, efficiency and productivity for a global client base. Rachel holds a Masters degree in Ergonomics and has experience implementing successful ergonomics controls and programs in diverse industries including pharmaceutical manufacturing, retail and hospital pharmacy, health care, dairy, steel, lumber, sewing and textile, parks and recreation, military, electronics, food production, energy, transportation, government, and office industries. She has provided technical writing and expert assistance to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) during creation of outreach materials related to ergonomics and has been editor and contributing author to internationally recognized industry print and Web-based publications and resources. Rachel currently sits on the board of directors for the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics (BCPE).
